Job description

We are helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a System Integration and Test Engineer to support vehicle-centric systems across Motion, Body, and Electrical/Electronic Architecture domains.

In this role, you'll lead system integration and testing activities across HIL environments and vehicles, investigate issues discovered during development and fleet operations, and work cross-functionally to improve system reliability and performance. You'll apply your experience in electric vehicle development, systems engineering, and hands-on troubleshooting to help ensure robust vehicle behavior and dependable Robotaxi service operations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced vehicle systems engineer with strong integration, testing, and electrical troubleshooting skills. You are analytical, hands-on, and comfortable driving complex technical issues from initial discovery through resolution.
As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you'll:

  • Conduct system integration testing at the HIL test bench and vehicle levels to characterize performance under nominal and off-nominal conditions.
  • Analyze vehicle and test data to identify integration risks, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to mitigate technical risks and minimize impact to program milestones.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system behavior, controls, diagnostics, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Investigate and drive resolution of complex system integration issues identified during vehicle testing and fleet service operations.
  • Document test results, technical findings, issue status, and resolution progress using Jira and Confluence.
  • Support validation of corrective actions and system improvements across test environments and vehicles.

Requirements

  •  BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
