Role: Electrical Engineer
Location: Pelzer, SC

Role Overview
Design and support UPS systems and electrical switchgear solutions, while leading technical presales activities and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop UPS subsystems/components and electrical concepts.
  • Support presales for medium/low voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, and control panels.
  • Create single-line diagrams, schematics, and layout drawings.
  • Analyze and optimize power electronic systems (performance, components, control strategies).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (embedded, mechanical, test engineers).
  • Ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, UL, and IEEE standards.
  • Improve existing designs and resolve application issues.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies in R&D.
  • Prepare technical documentation and meet project timelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, converters, and semiconductor devices.
  • Experience with design tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, or similar.

Preferred Skills

  • PCB design and layout experience.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance.
  • Experience in UPS or power module development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
