Job description

East-West Electric, a well-established and growing electrical contracting company, is seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Service Technician with strong commercial and industrial experience. This is a senior-level position for someone who can complete service jobs from start to finish and has experience working in commercial and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute commercial and industrial electrical service projects
  • Troubleshoot and install power distribution systems, equipment, branch circuits, etc
  • Install and upgrade commercial services
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial lighting systems
  • Install and service parking lot and area lighting
  • Source power from existing services to feed new or relocated equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and wiring diagrams
  • Interact directly with customers, facility managers, and building engineers
  • Manage material needs, labor, and job timelines
  • Reports to the Service Manager

Required Experience

  • 5+ years as a Lead Service Technician running commercial jobs independently
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
  • Proficient with single- and three-phase systems
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)
