Position Summary:
The Construction Electrical Superintendent oversees and coordinates all on-site electrical construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience managing field crews and subcontractors on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily electrical construction activities on-site.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as company safety standards and project specifications.
  • Lead and manage field electricians, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to verify electrical scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and other trade superintendents to coordinate project sequencing and resolve field conflicts.
  • Monitor project progress, track materials, and manage labor resources efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site safety meetings, inspections, and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Identify and address potential issues, delays, or change orders proactively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams regarding project status and field conditions.

Qualifications:
  • MUST be over the age of 18
  • MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • MUST have Valid Driver's License and Personal Transportation
  • MUST have a valid JMAN certification in the state of Florida
  • MUST be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • MUST have a FELONY FREE record
  • MUST be DRUG FREE before and during employment
  • MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
      • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
      • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar).
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments (construction sites).
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
