Electrical Service Technician Level II

Rio Marine is expanding in the locations listed below. Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting basic electrical circuits.
  • Motor starters and start/stops.
  • Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger.
  • Terminate most common types of electrical equipment.
  • Read one-line drawings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to pumps.
  • Supervise and train tech level 3.
  • Assist in managing projects as assigned.
  • On-call for a (7) seven-day period.
  • Travel occasionally for the company to work at other locations.
  • Follow all of Rio Marineโ€™s safety and operational policies.
  • Any other duties as needed or directed by management as it relates to Rio Marine Inc. Operations.
  • Rio Marine is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is required.

Qualifications:

  1. Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  1. Physical
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.
  • Ability to work in any and all adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in height.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
  1. Personal Background
  • Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC.
  • Must have a valid driver license.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no DWI convictions.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
