Maintenance E&I Electrical Journeyman - Evadale, TX
We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Maintenance E&I Electrical Journeymen for our Paper Mill in Evadale, TX.
Job Summary:
Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains the electrical and instrumentation systems in a safe manner within a paper mill. Single craft Electrical and Instrument applicants will be required to become proficient in both crafts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventive, routine, and reactive maintenance activities, including instrument and electrical troubleshooting skills, loop tuning, PLC/DCS and drives, 480V/medium voltage, and high voltage skills.

Requirements:
  • Troubleshooting skills in electrical and instrumentation systems
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Available to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
  • Decision making and troubleshooting abilities, good communication and computer skills
  • Must be highly motivated, conscientious, and a good team player with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an approved apprentice program and/or technical or military trade school is highly preferred.
  • Five + years industrial experience in their craft.
