Job description

Quality Control Inspector


Summary:

Inspect parts, products, materials and processes to ensure conformance with standards. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with order to ensure completion of assembly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Inspect each home. Utilize check sheet and inspect each room and exterior for obvious cosmetic defects.
  • Follow-up on repairs- they will be continuous. You will personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been done and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
  • Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are within compliance of our company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strive to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
  • Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with the guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
