Job description

Hunt Electric, Inc.is searching for afull-time Licensed Electrical Foreman to join our team in our electrical division in our Boise Idaho location.

The Electrical Foreman position is responsible for planning, designing, organization, and executing electricalconstructionprojects while being able to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements. We are looking for someone to troubleshoot, pull wire, bend pipe, and be a mentor to field crews.

Major Duties
  • Have previously successfully supervised projects with crews ranging from 2 to 50 personnel, meeting safety, quality and production goals.
  • Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
  • Plan and layout the project including planned installation materialtake-offquantities and toolneeds basedon the project schedule.
  • Establish a site-specific safety plan, evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
  • Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
  • Evaluate the contracted scope of work with the PM to determine change requests and scheduleaffect.
  • Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs fortimelyarrival to and from the site.
  • Monitor daily progresstotheshort termand long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
  • Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
  • Establish and implement prefabproject specifictasks.
  • Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code.
  • Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.
  • Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Journeyman license.
  • Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
  • Be able to apply the latest technological techniques to maximize employee safety, quality, and production.
  • Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.). Be a team player with acknowledging contributions by others.
  • Basic computer skills such as Outlook, Bluebeam, WordandExcel.
  • Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out and trade specific.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
  • As a full-time Electrical Foreman, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO).
