Job description

Title: Electrical Controls Engineer
Location: Roseville, IL (Flexible Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year
Hire Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and oversee the manufacturing of control panels
  • Design & create electrical schematics for UL and CE listed industrial control panels using SolidWorks electrical design software
  • Testing PLC and OIT programs
  • Create new electrical parts and numbers and descriptions in ERP system
  • Troubleshooting of machinery operations and control circuits
  • Create PLC and HMI programs using Rockwell software - Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View, RSView, RSLogix 500
  • Modify program/system logic involving multiple systems subsystems 
  • Electrical project management work directly with project PM or with customers
Qualifications:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in industrial controls and systems integration with a strong focus on software design and programming
  • Must have electrical design software experience (SolidWorks Electrical or other) 
  • Must have experience with Rockwell platforms and PLC programming
  • Networking experience like Ethernet/IP, ControlNet or DeviceNet
  • Must be able to do occasional client site travel
