Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Conyers, GA / Remote (Hybrid options available)

Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects across a variety of markets, including federal, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. This role is responsible for leading electrical engineering efforts from project pursuit through completion while providing technical oversight, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables. The ideal candidate is a proven technical leader with extensive electrical design experience, strong project management capabilities, and a passion for developing teams and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering design and analysis for complex building and infrastructure projects.
  • Design and oversee power distribution systems, medium-voltage systems, emergency power systems, generators, UPS systems, lighting systems, telecommunications systems, lightning protection systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
  • Serve as the lead electrical engineer on large-scale projects and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, design narratives, drawings, and construction documents.
  • Perform technical reviews of engineering work prepared by other engineers and designers to ensure quality, constructability, and code compliance.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Systems software, and other engineering tools to support project execution.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in site investigations, facility assessments, construction observations, and construction administration activities.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and workhour estimates while managing project budgets and staff workloads.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and designers, supporting their technical and professional development.
  • Support business development initiatives, proposal efforts, client presentations, and relationship-building activities.
  • Sign and seal engineering documents as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program or equivalent international degree subject to review.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required with active NCEES record.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of electrical engineering experience, depending on education background.
  • Extensive experience with power distribution systems, medium-voltage systems, emergency power systems, UPS systems, lighting systems, telecommunications systems, and related electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power Systems software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience developing technical specifications using MasterSpec, SpecsIntact, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with UFC, DoD, and VA design criteria preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing project teams, project budgets, and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and support business development efforts.
  • Ability to travel for project assignments, client meetings, and site visits as needed.
  • Pre-employment drug test, background check, and valid driver’s license required.
