The position also requires participation in our TradeReady career development prep program geared for High School students preparing to enter the trade workforce. This program will require hands-on activities created focused on electrical related learning objectives. Additionally, online education offerings are to be created, implemented and continuously improved over time to engage industry leading online offerings related to electrical training. The role is ideal for a licensed Master Electrician or electrical educator who thrives in program development, instructional design, and workforce training environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of a 1,500 sq. ft. workshop/lab, specifying layout, required simulators, tools, safety protocols, and functional training stations.

  • Maintain and regularly update the curriculum to keep pace with changes in NEC codes and technology.

  • Ensure training labs and course materials are prepared and aligned with course schedules.
Emphasize safety, industry standards, and hands-on competencies during instruction.

  • Assess student knowledge and skills through written and practical evaluations.

Design and advise on development of online modules and simulations for theory-based instruction compatible with remote learners.

  • Assist in selection or creation of digital content, videos, quizzes, and LMS-integrated activities to supplement hands-on coursework.

  • Ensure online content aligns with instructional goals and offers effective learning pathways for hybrid and asynchronous students.
