Job description

All Type Electric Inc. (ATE) has an immediate openings for journeyperson and apprentice electricians (2nd and 3rd years) based out of our Calgary and Edmonton offices, serving a variety of clientele in the light industrial, commercial and manufacturing markets.

The positions require the following qualifications:

  • A valid Alberta Journeyperson Certificate and / or Inter Provincial designation. Indentured electrical apprentices.

  • Minimum of 2years relevant experience.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated problem solving, trouble shooting and analytical skills.

  • Reading and interpreting blue prints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

  • Openness to work on projects outside of the Edmonton and Calgary areas.

  • Ability to pass pre- access drug and alcohol test. (Requirement for some clients and project sites.)

  • Valid training certificates, CSTS, fall arrest, first aid, WHMIS and aerial work platform.

  • Clean drivers abstract.

  • The desire to progress, learn, grow and succeed.

  • Journeyman Electrician: 1-2 years (preferred)

  • Extensive conduit experience, EMT, PVC, Steel and Aluminium Rigid

Licence/Certification:

  • Journeyperson certification (required)

  • Indentured electrical apprentice

  • Drivers Licence (required)

Openness to travel:

  • 25% (preferred)
