Maintenance MechanicAbout us:Degelman Industries LP is searching for individuals to join our team as Maintenance Mechanic. Degelman Industries designs and manufactures equipment known for quality and respected by farmers for over 60 years.What will you do?The purpose of the job is to perform skilled tasks in mechanical/electrical repair of equipment, tools, hoists, and forklifts with in the Production Department in an efficient and safe manner.Participate in the development of a predictive and preventative maintenance program including planning and scheduling regular, weekly or monthly maintenance.Perform daily scheduled preventative maintenance and react to any emergency breakdowns when they occur.Become familiar with the general operation of all equipment, including any additional equipment purchased by Degelman Industries LP.Forklift operation.Scissor lifts operation.Working Conditions:Requires working in a variety of different conditions including outdoor, confined space, at heights, and dusty environment.Must work with a variety of chemicals, have the ability to read and understand a WHMIS Data Sheet is mandatory.This position involves shift work.Relevant training will be provided.What do you need to succeed?Must possess his/her first-year Millwright/Industrial Mechanic, Machinist, Tri-trade or Electrical pre-employment education or apprenticeship supplemented with 3 to 5 years experience.Experienced in machining, welding, electrical and mechanical repairs.Must have a good understanding of hydraulics.Must have good organizational and communication skills.Must be able to inspect, diagnose and problem solve. How to Apply: Once you click on the Apply for this Position button you will be taken to a page where you will have two ways to apply.
