Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously from planning to completion

  • Conduct on-site job walk-throughs and coordinate preconstruction meetings

  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment

  • Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

  • Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and performance benchmarks

  • Write detailed scopes of work and collaborate with clients and internal teams

  • Identify and estimate potential change orders proactively

  • Collaborate with estimators for pricing, submitting, and tracking changes

  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and company policies

  • Assist field crews when needed and maintain quality control across job sites

  • Seek out new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar leadership role

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent field experience

  • Deep understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems

  • Proven experience with electrical projects up to $1 million

  • Familiarity with construction documentation and cost control practices

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, perform material take-offs, and write proposals

  • Field installation background is highly preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Must be a self-starter with a solution-focused mindset
