At our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, the Electrical Technician plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. The Electrical Technician is responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical panels, control boxes, and wire harnesses used in support of landing gear testing and overhaul operations. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, component integration, and industry compliance standards to ensure all equipment meets stringent aviation safety and quality requirements. The Electrical Technician role is for 2nd Shift hours.
**Important Notice
 Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Layout and assemble electrical panels, enclosures, and test boxes per wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Design and build custom test boxes and harnesses to support landing gear testing and diagnostics
  • Drill, cut, and mount electrical components into enclosures and assemblies using hand tools and power equipment such as saws, drill, crimpers safely and effectively
  • Wire control panels according to engineering specifications and Bills of Material (BOM).
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to specify and order required materials and components
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate and safe wiring practices
  • Build, inspect, and test wire harnesses and connectors using proper tooling and quality standards
  • Perform electrical testing including continuity and functional verification using meters and test equipment (ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, etc.)
  • Ensure all work is compliant with UL508A, UL1995, NEC, and aviation MRO standards
  • Document and support the creation of wiring diagrams and test procedures

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with CAD tools; PCB layout experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with FAA and MRO standards is advantageous
  • PC-literate with working knowledge of MS Office
