Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an engineer with experience in motor repair and rewinding. This position is integral to establishing procedures and processes for a new electrical motor repair operation. The successful candidate will work with site management and a mechanical engineer to identify equipment needs for rebuilding, rewinding, and testing electric motors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish procedures and processes related to motor repairs.
  • Collaborate with site management and mechanical engineers to identify equipment needs for rebuilding, rewinding, and testing electric motors.
  • Provide guidance on testing and repair protocols.
  • Perform engineering assignments, which may range from limited scope to more advanced projects.
  • Develop technical documentation and provide technical guidance.
  • Prepare job cost estimates and other required reports for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Ensure project specifications, safety standards, and long-term performance and reliability goals are met.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Experience: 0 - 5 years of experience in the electric motor repair industry is required. Experience should include engineering studies and analysis.
