Job description

Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Duration: 6 months to perm preferred

Location: Austin TX - Onsite

Ideal Start: 8/24 or sooner

Duties/Scope: Client needs an Electrical Design Engineer for a significant spike in the workload, and a gap exists for Power Distribution design. Client needs a consultant with strong low power experience (40V and 5kV) for motor control center to individual power loads, including grounding drawings, installation details, motor starters, perfect bus tray and cable tray designs. This will be a 90% technical vs 10% functional role.

Candidate must be familiar with ISBL (inside battery limits) which is seen most frequently in refining or refinery type environments.

Chemical manufacturing could be a tradeoff.

Candidate must be fluent in Revit.

Candidate will be working within a small team of 7-10, and they may be working on multiple projects in various stages.
