Job description

Location: Renton, WA
Salary Range: $125,000 to $140,000
Sr. Electrical Design Engineer - Electrical Systems Design and Renewable Energy Systems Design
Responsibilities
• Assist the sales team in client meetings and presentations
• Create, manage, and oversee the scope of work for all electrical systems on all Apollo Solutions Group projects. Help manage client expectations and timelines.
• Manage engineering project teammates and provide coaching and mentoring in their career development
• Create, manage, and oversee the budgets for the Investment Grade Audits and/or Pre-Construction Services Proposals, and Electrical Design Budgets.
• Create, manage, and develop the scope of work and electrical design documents for the projects Apollo Solutions Group will be implementing.
• Manage, coach, and mentor junior engineers in their career development. Ensure the projects are staying on schedule during the project development and design phases.
• Work with the assigned construction manager to build the Guaranteed Maximum Construction Costs (GMAX) for projects
• Manage project schedules and communicate changes in a dynamic environment
• Maintain clear and concise verbal and written communications with the client
• Provide preliminary and final designs for the project's FIMs
Skills and Qualifications
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Willing to work and thrive in team atmosphere
Education and Experience
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent required
• PE required.
• Proficient in Revit.
• 10 to 25 years of experience in Building Electrical Systems Design, Energy Services Performance Contracting, or Energy Retrofit Design/Build project development required.
