Residential Project Manager – Lead Residential Electrical Construction from Planning to Completion for C&R Electric Inc


Job Overview

  • Company: C&R Electric Inc
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $95,000 - $115,000 per year plus Annual Bonus.
  • Location: Curtis Bay, MD (Travel Required: 30% travel outside 30 miles).
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
  • Project Scope: New residential home electrical construction including material coordination, layout, and scheduling.
  • Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


The Opportunity

You will take full ownership of new residential electrical construction projects from early planning phases through final completion. Joining our field operations leadership team allows you to apply your technical expertise to maximize site safety, quality, and workflow efficiency. This position offers a direct path to impact our project delivery while managing essential timelines and valuable field talent.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Mark off and lay out precise electrical installations for new residential home construction projects.
  • Schedule and coordinate the daily workloads for field crews to maintain tight timelines.
  • Prepare, order, and distribute house-specific bills of materials to job sites and field personnel.
  • Review, track, and process accurate billing documentation for all completed residential site work.
  • Coordinate daily with home builders, local inspectors, material suppliers, and senior company management.
  • Ensure all field work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with codes.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive residential electrical construction experience with strong knowledge of residential electrical systems.
  • Thorough, working knowledge of the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Direct experience reading and interpreting blueprints, residential electrical plans, and detailed specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to support regular multi-site travel.
  • Proven ability to manage materials, build schedules, and track documentation for multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 10 or more years of related work experience in residential electrical construction management.
  • Practical working knowledge of the 2021 IECC Energy Code and its application to housing.
  • Demonstrated experience managing field crews and handling builder communications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Journeyman’s license in the state of Maryland
  • Basic computer skills for daily communication and organization
