Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – High Voltage Lab

Job Description

This Senior Electrical Engineer role serves as the primary technical lead in a high voltage laboratory environment, overseeing testing, data acquisition, and system development activities. The position focuses on designing and supporting electrical circuits and systems for high voltage applications while driving continuous improvement of lab procedures, test methods, and equipment. You will guide engineers and technicians, ensure high-quality testing and documentation, and leverage your expertise in circuit design, data acquisition, and either power electronics or programming to enhance the lab’s capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high voltage lab operations and act as the primary technical resource and team lead.
  • Design, test, and support electrical circuits and systems for high voltage applications.
  • Conduct laboratory testing, collect and analyze data, and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain lab procedures, test methods, and documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, circuits, and test setups to ensure reliable operation.
  • Oversee and support lab maintenance activities, including calibration and system upgrades.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab capabilities and testing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering and testing requirements.
  • Mentor and guide engineers and technicians working within the lab environment.
  • Ensure high attention to detail in all testing activities, documentation, and reporting.

Essential Skills

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on circuit design and data acquisition.
  • Hands-on experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably a high voltage lab.
  • Strong practical experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electrical lab equipment.
  • Proven background in circuit design, troubleshooting, and electrical testing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
