Job Title: Electrical Lab Coordinator
Location: Allen Park, MI

Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hr.
Work Days: M-F OT when needed
Work Hours: 6:45-3:30

This position is offering a pay range of $20 - $24/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Job Description / Responsibilities:
* Create 2nd shift line up for all areas (Lab and Shop Floor)
* Be the liaison between the customer and the Leader on issues and letting the customer know when the work has been completed.
* Work with the Leader in each area to make sure that work is completed on time.
* Attend meetings with customers and Leader to go over the work that the customer is requesting.
* Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and repair schedules for all electrical lab equipment, acting as the liaison with service engineers and maintaining detailed service records to minimize downtime
* Fluent knowledge with the following software: Excel, Word and Outlook.
* Issue, log and set up new projects
* Assist MBC with data entry
* Process submittals (VDOs)
* Process and track project submissions (RFI"s, Submittals, Change Requests, etc.)
* Create, log and update project related spreadsheets.
* Coordinate the procurement and delivery of long-lead electrical equipment and materials, tracking inventory to prevent project delays and cost overruns.
* Develop, maintain, and manage the detailed electrical project schedule, aligning it with the master project timeline and coordinating with other trades to avoid conflicts.
* Conduct regular on-site inspections and quality control checks to verify that all electrical work is performed in strict accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry best practices.
* Lead and document electrical coordination meetings, effectively communicating progress, identifying potential issues, and driving resolution of on-site challenges.
* Participate in the project closeout process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
* Familiar with the Ford GPIRS system
* Familiar with FordDoc
* General understanding of electrical automotive components and wiring
* Able to read electrical schematics
