Job description

Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: De Soto, KS

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 + ~$125/day per diem (7 days/week)

A leading industrial construction group is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support directhire projects across power, heavy industrial, chemical, food & beverage, and related sectors. This role focuses on accurate electrical cost estimating, project planning, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead electrical estimating efforts and coordinate all scopes when managing a full estimate
· Prepare supplier and subcontractor RFQs
· Develop construction execution plans, indirect cost models, and manpower loading charts
· Participate in site visits, preconstruction meetings, and project turnover sessions
· Support internal reviews, executive reviews, and weekly estimating meetings

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in industrial construction
· Strong knowledge of electrical installation, NEC, and engineering design documents
· Experience with conceptual, highvoltage, lowvoltage, designbuild, and unitprice estimating
· Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
· Proficiency with estimating software (Trimble Accubid preferred)
· Strong communication and leadership skills
