About the Role at Twin Rivers Technologies (TRT)

As the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll lead the frontline team that keeps our 24/7 chemical manufacturing operation safe, reliable, and efficient. You will orchestrate daily maintenance activities for electrical distribution, process instrumentation, analyzers, and control systems while coordinating closely with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and the Senior Maintenance Manager.

A Day in the Life
  • Kick off the day with a safety-focused briefing, ensuring permits and environmental standards are in place for all tasks.
  • Align the day’s priorities and staffing, then launch the maintenance schedule—preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency work—across the site.
  • Stay in the field: coach technicians, verify work quality, and support troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation issues.
  • Coordinate contractor activities to meet safety and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on process troubleshooting, equipment repairs, planned shutdowns, and improvement projects.
  • Track maintenance backlog, work order status, and labor utilization; adjust plans in real time to minimize downtime.
  • Confirm spare parts availability and organize tooling and shop standards to enable efficient execution.
  • Close the loop on the preventive maintenance program and identify continuous improvement opportunities in reliability, safety, and process performance.
What You’ll Lead
  • Daily supervision and direction of E&I technicians, contractors, and E&I foremen.
  • Scheduling and work prioritization in coordination with cross-functional partners.
  • Execution of the PM program in a 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on support for DCS/PLC-based control systems and networked industrial controls.
  • Verification of safe, efficient, and high-quality E&I workmanship.
  • Employee development through coaching, training, feedback, and accountability.
  • Workforce planning, staffing coordination, shift coverage, and resource allocation.
  • Housekeeping, tool management, and maintenance standards across shops and work areas.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives that elevate reliability and maintenance performance.
Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation, engineering/industrial technology, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent E&I leadership experience considered.
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience required (chemical manufacturing, refinery, food processing, or industrial manufacturing preferred).
  • 2+ years in maintenance leadership, supervision, or maintenance coordination preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, process instrumentation, analyzers, motor controls, VFDs, control valves, and industrial control systems required.
  • Experience with DCS, PLCs, process controls, and industrial network infrastructure preferred.
  • Proven ability to coordinate maintenance activities, set priorities, manage resources, and support execution in a 24/7 operation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and talent-development skills required.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance planning, and scheduling preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS/SAP and Microsoft Office required.
  • Massachusetts electrical license preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices including LOTO, confined space entry, electrical safety, line breaking, and contractor safety management required.

Infrequent; may be required for training.
