JOB SUMMARY

This position plays a critical role in ensuring product precision and compliance with strict quality standards and offers variety and challenge, working with diverse materials and components. Using strong attention to detail and technical expertise, this role verifies that products meet specifications.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Inspections & Quality Control

• Perform inspections using manual measuring tools and CMMs to verify conformance across a wide range of materials and parts.

• Conduct inspections for operators and support buyoff activities.

• Gather customer required documentation.

• Apply customer and Voss inspection/testing requirements with precision.

• Train and support operators on inspection techniques and quality standards.

Quality Assurance

• Support the Voss Quality System to maintain ISO accreditation.

• Assist with quality reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

• Develop and/or maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and certifications for heat treat, machining, welding, materials, and more.

Calibrations

• Assist with calibration and maintenance of measurement and test equipment.

• Support calibration of employee-owned tools in line with company standards.

Other Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings, applying GD&T in daily inspections.

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following all safety guidelines.

• Participate in training, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.

• Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Performs other duties/projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.

COMPENSATION:

• $18 - $26 per hour - commensurate with experience and specialty.
