Description
Joe Knows Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to support multiple infrastructure and construction projects throughout the NYC region. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced field environments and can adapt quickly while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and accountability.
This role will support multiple active projects and requires the ability to move between job sites as project phases progress.
Per diem / travel reimbursement is available for this position.

Responsibilities
• Verify that electrical specifications are completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements
• Ensure project phases are lined up properly, and work is progressing according to plan
• Inspect and verify electrical connections and installations for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate effectively with contractors, field teams, and client representatives
• Identify and document deficiencies, concerns, or corrective actions when necessary
• Maintain strong attention to detail while working across multiple active projects and locations
• Uphold safety standards, professionalism, and accountability in the field
Qualifications
• Experience in electrical inspection, utility construction, electrical infrastructure, or related field work is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
