Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer Associate to join our Warshauer Electric Supply team in Tinton Falls, NJ!

Summary: The Electrical Engineering Associate, under the supervision of a licensed PE, will perform electrical studies consisting of short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analyses to generate a formal report to be submitted with switchgear submittal packages. The associate will also be responsible for designing power distribution systems, photometric calculations providing one-line diagrams, and panel schedules as part of full electrical plan drawings.

What You'll Do:

  • Electrical studies โ€“ Use engineering software to model and analyze electrical systems related to switchgear sales, and generate a report summarizing the analysis
  • Engineering design and sales support โ€“ design lighting and power distribution systems for clients, and provide engineering calculations to assist switchgear sales group with value engineering options for ongoing and prospective projects
  • Project Management โ€“ Assist Project Management team as needed and with technical issues
  • Other duties as assigned
