Job Summary:


Working under the supervision of our Commercial Electricians, you will learn and develop your skills in electrical rough-in, wiring installation, lighting fixture and gear installation all while continuing to learn the electrical trade. 


Job Duties: 

  • Install electrical wiring under the supervision of an electrician
  • Perform rough-in of electrical back boxes and raceway
  • Install wire in raceway, rough-in MC cable, light fixtures and hanger wires
  • Use power and powder actuated tools
  • Effectively communicate and develop relationships with customers and supervisors
  • Assist Electricians in proactive problem solving and solutions to get things done right
  • Keep work area clean and free of debris


Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform and comprehend basic mathematical calculations (up to a 5th grade level) 
  • Ability to read measurements on tape measures and rulers 
  • Mechanically inclined individuals and/or those that have worked in the construction field are highly desirable

  • Experienced in bending/running conduit
  • 2 years or more Electrical experience 


Physical Requirements:

  • Travel to and from job sites with reliable transportation
  • Able to lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects and climb step ladders
  • Work indoors and outdoors occasionally working in cramped spaces
