Job description

Andrews Electric Corp is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work efficiently with minimal supervision.

This position is primarily residential service, remodel, and new construction, with occasional light commercial work.

Responsibilities

● Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems

● Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, rewiring, and circuit installations

● Install lighting, switches, receptacles, GFCI/AFCI devices, ceiling fans, EV chargers, generators, and other electrical equipment

● Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and wiring diagrams

● Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC and local electrical codes

● Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions in the field

● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

● Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and team members

Qualifications

● Previous experience as a residential electrician is required

● Strong understanding of residential wiring methods and electrical troubleshooting

● Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

● Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on ladders, in attics, crawl spaces, and other typical job site environments
