ProSidian Seeks a Electrical Engineer - Engineering (DS109) (Time and Materials | Exempt Engagement Team - Senior Consultant Level) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy. - DS109 | Prof. This position is located in the Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina Area.
Electrical Engineer - Engineering (DS109) Candidates shall work to support requirements for TBC (Engineering Services) and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications Nuclear & Environmental Management Sector. ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of the Electrical Engineer Engagement Team Cadre to provide Professional Electrical Engineering services to assigned Electrical engineering Teams. Electrical engineering support services include electrical engineering analysis, walk-downs, design development, and generation of design output documents, including but not limited to Single Line Drawings; Electrical Equipment Lists; Control System Design; Electrical Equipment Specifications; Bulk Material Specifications; Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design; Grounding; Heat Tracing; Fire Detection.
Serve as an Electrical Engineer responsible for performing a variety of Electrical Engineering assignments, including design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of various process equipment and systems, and generally as a member of a design, construction, operations, or review team on more complex assignments or as a lead on less complex projects. In addition, support and engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRMC]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which the US Department of Energy owns.
Electrical Engineers have duties and responsibilities that focus on safety, sustainable devices, and quality assurance. They design, develop and maintain electrical systems and parts for consumer and business electronics. Electrical Engineers support electrical work in the manufacturing, transport, and construction industries. Electrical engineers design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment, such as electric motors, radar and navigation systems, communications systems, or power generation equipment. An Electrical Engineer, or Electronics Engineer, is responsible for developing electrical devices and testing them for safety and efficiency. In addition, their duties include managing the manufacturing process for new electrical equipment, using design software to produce schematics, and overseeing the installation process of their designs.
This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements), and ProSidian Team Members work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre to fulfill Electrical Engineering requirements. An Electrical Engineer, or Facilities Electrical Engineer, designs, builds, and tests various mechanical devices, like industrial machines, transportation systems, and robotics equipment. In addition, Electrical Engineers perform many electrical/process, scientific and technical tasks related to nuclear, Energy, and Environmental Management Sector products/services/deliverables. Some of their typical duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following worksite functionalities (Specific Task Order Performance Work Statements May supersede listed tasks for this role):
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Electrical engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures. In addition, programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.
- Act as a lead on less complex tasks and responsible for a portion of a design or section of an analysis or design review.
- Attending company meetings - Individuals at times will be required to travel off-Site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Electrical engineering organizations.
- Conduct site visits, analyze electrical engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate and work closely with other electrical engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
- Creating product documentation and records
- Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
- Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
- Electronic/mechanical equipment and systems and generally as a design, analysis or review team member. Knowledge of process control and automation systems is required.
- Establish and maintain a filing system or databases to track project status.
