Job description

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects. This role will focus on power, lighting, communications, fire alarm, and other specialty systems while working closely with internal teams, clients, and project partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems and prepare project documentation with a focus on accuracy, safety, and code compliance
  • Review designs and perform code research to ensure projects meet applicable requirements
  • Select electrical equipment and components based on project needs and manufacturer specifications
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and surveys to support design efforts
  • Develop electrical specifications and technical documentation
  • Work with architectural and engineering teams to coordinate project drawings and details
  • Attend project meetings with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Provide technical support throughout construction phases
  • Assist with mentoring and reviewing design work produced by junior team members
  • Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • 0–3 years of related electrical design experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
