Sr Electrical Design Engineer PE (Commercial Projects) โ€“ Fort Lauderdale (Onsite)

We are seeking a Sr Electrical Design Engineer to join our Team. Successful candidates will have 6โ€‘10+ years of experience in Electrical Design/Engineering of electrical building systems and preparing detailed electrical engineering drawings and calculations. You will be responsible for the design of electrical systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of building types including Commercial, Highโ€‘Rise, Hotel/Casino, Healthcare, Public Sector, Data/Computer Facilities, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Design power, lighting, and lowโ€‘voltage systems for commercial and residential buildings
  • Produce construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Florida codes and standards
  • Support projects through design, permitting, and construction phases
  • Provide technical expertise on complex design challenges
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABETโ€‘Accredited College or University
  • PE License in Florida (Required)
  • 6โ€“10+ years of experience in electrical design
  • Strong proficiency in Revit Software
  • Experience with midโ€‘rise and highโ€‘rise projects in Florida
  • Knowledge of local codes and permitting processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Stable work history
Preferred, Not Required
  • Spanish bilingual
  • LEED Accredited Professional and previous experience participating in the LEED or other green rating system process
  • Experience and interest in sustainable building design
