Job description

  • Perform electrical engineering design for mineral processing projects and associated infrastructure
  • Prepare electrical equipment specifications, datasheets, estimates, and scopes of work in compliance with engineering standards
  • Develop proposals and conceptual designs for pre-feasibility, feasibility, and detailed engineering phases
  • Work across domestic and international projects throughout the lifecycle from concept development and feasibility studies through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operations
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, vendors, and industry stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective project delivery
  • Potentially act as project lead engineer and oversee junior team members
  • Demonstrate high standards of personal safety and safety in design practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5โ€“7 years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer, with MV and LV power distribution systems
  • Must be eligible to register with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration to obtain the Professional Engineer licensing (P.E.)
  • Experience in an engineering design/consultancy environment is preferred
  • Previous experience in industrial processing or electric utility, and/or mining and metals environment is considered an asset
  • Proficiency with instrumentation and control systems in industrial applications
