Senior Electrical Engineer - Test Equipment Engineering
Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the development of advanced test solutions within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
This role involves hands-on work designing, developing, and integrating test systems used across both lab and production environments. The engineer will contribute across the full lifecycle of test product development, including technical execution, cost, and schedule responsibilities.
What You Will Do
  • Design, develop, and integrate test products within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Develop engineering and production test systems, including:
    • Test interface adapters
    • Cabling and interconnects
    • Technical drawings and schematics
    • Circuit design and analysis
  • Support full lifecycle development of test systems
  • Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to test system development and implementation
  • Collaborate across teams or operate independently to drive solutions to completion

Qualifications - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • Minimum:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
    • 3+ years with an advanced STEM degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Experience with:
    • Electrical engineering design, analysis, and troubleshooting
    • Schematic capture and interpretation
  • Experience with design tools such as:
    • Altium
    • DX Designer
    • Mentor Capital
    • Creo Schematic
  • Experience using test equipment such as:
    • Oscilloscopes
    • Digital Multimeters (DMMs)
    • Network analyzers
    • Power meters

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in STEM (ABET preferred)
  • Experience with:
    • Analog, digital, and/or RF design
    • Mixed-signal and electrical system integration
  • Experience designing and integrating:
    • Digital systems
    • Electrical interconnects
  • Experience with:
    • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
    • Integrated development environments and debugging tools
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in a multi-disciplinary team
