Let&rsquo;s energize the future together.<br><br>NJR Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead and manage technical team in the execution of engineering and construction RFPs and the delivery of multiple commercial solar and CHP projects in support of the Clean Energy Ventures project plan. This role is responsible for setting program standards, overseeing major construction and O&amp;M activities and ensuring projects are delivered safety, on time and within budget. <br><br>Major Responsibilities<br>&bull; Oversee construction activities with EPC contractors, landlords and tenants to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget<br>o Project sizes range from 2 MW to 150 MW, with capital values up to $150M<br>o Typically oversees 1-4 concurrent projects, including direct oversight of onsite project management staff<br>&bull; Manage and coordinate negotiation and execution of EPC agreements for all clean energy platforms<br>&bull; Lead a team of technical and project management professionals in the construction of various projects<br>&bull; Manage procurement activities, as applicable, to ensure timely completion within budget<br>&bull; Oversee the review and approval of electrical and construction engineering plans<br>&bull; Oversee the implementation of major O&amp;M outages for various Clean Energy Ventures assets<br>&bull; Develop, review and approve project commissioning plans and test procedures<br>&bull; Oversee construction permitting and interconnection process<br>&bull; Oversee and manage all landowner issues at the various project sites<br>&bull; Assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for senior NJR management<br>&bull; Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships, fostering collaboration, accountability, and teamwork<br><br>Position Requirements:<br>&bull; Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering<br>&bull; 7-10 years of experience leading various engineering and construction teams, including working on solar, power or energy project implementations<br>&bull; Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred<br>&bull; Proficiency in MS Office and strong verbal and written communication skills<br>&bull; Ability to travel 25-35% and spend necessary time at remote project locations<br><br>* The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary.<br><br>Other details:<br>Job Location Type: Hybrid<br>Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $122,000- $165,000.<br>Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge.<br><br>This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.<br><br>Benefits That Support You <br>&bull; Day one medical coverage, including prescription, vision and dental plans, so you&rsquo;re supported right away.<br>&bull; Our 401(k) plan has a generous company match to help you invest in your future.<br>&bull; Direct Stock Purchase Plan (with optional payroll deduction for employees) so you can share in the company&rsquo;s success.<br>&bull; Wellness perks, including free on and off site fitness centers and other programs to keep you feeling your best.<br>&bull; A confidential Employee Assistance Program to support your wellbeing.<br>&bull; Professional development and tuition reimbursement to help grow your skills and advance your career.<br>&bull; Vacation and company-paid holidays, so you can rest and recharge.<br>&bull; Flexible work arrangements with many roles offering hybrid options based on job responsibilities and business needs.<br><br>New Jersey Resources is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
