Job description

Position - Electrical Engineer
Location - Mount Airy, NC & National Travel
Company - Manufacturing
Description - This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing national manufacturing company. You will travel to the company's manufacturing sites to support a range of electrical engineering projects. Projects will deal with manufacturing equipment and systems, aimed at improving efficiency, quality issues, new product development, and more. You will support maintenance related tasks hands on when needed. You will also work with vendors and suppliers to purchase new machinery and components. This is a direct hire position offering competitive benefits and room for growth!
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field required
- Ability to travel up to 75% required (home on weekends)
- Minimum of 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong skillset with PLCs including programming required
- Ability to design electrical schematics and control panels using CAD software required
- Project management experience required
