We are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (Project Engineer) to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Performs engineering assignments as part of a work team involved in the planning, organizing, and developing of complicated machinery projects. Takes lead responsibility for specific projects, including customer interaction.

Performs engineering work related to researching, designing, and developing machines, mechanical products or tools. Uses computer-aided design (CAD) to assist in design and to create drawings. Interprets and implements design concept based on customer requirements. Specifies machine components and releases for production or purchase based on project milestones. Works closely with Machine Shop Foreman and Assembly Supervisor in directing and following through on project progress.

Must have good problem solving skills, good communication, and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Must be able to work accurately and under the constraints of a deadline. Must have scheduling and project management skills. Must be accurate in timekeeping.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • 6-8 years relevant experience
