Cenovus's New Grad Program aims to attract,developandretainexceptional newgradsto build a top talent pipeline for the company. The program provides newgradswith a broad understanding of Cenovus's core business through challenging work assignments, training and development, fieldexposureand the opportunity to develop a large network of contacts through networking and mentorship opportunities.

Our Program consists of three consecutive 12-month rotational assignments that span Cenovus's varied business areas. Upon completion of the three-year program, you will be matched to a permanent role within the organization. This role will be based on business need and relocation may berequired.

Your first rotation-and your final placement upon completion of the New Grad Program-will be based in Calgary, AB. Additional rotations may take place in Calgary, AB, or at one of our Oil Sands operations: Foster Creek, Christina Lake, Sunrise.

Our Oil Sands sites offer full-service camp accommodations. Depending on your residence and shift schedule, bus and/or air transportation may be provided from designated departure points in select locations.

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • Available to begin workJune 2027

  • Must have an undergraduate or graduateElectricalEngineering-related degreeobtained byMay 31, 2027,and completed within the last 2 years(2025, 2026, or before May 31, 2027).

  • Mustbe eligible to register for your Engineer-in-Training designation.

  • Has less than two years of professional experience related to this discipline of study, excluding student experience.

Safety Sensitive Considerations:
