Required Skills and Knowledge

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination

Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines

Ability to work well on a team

Exceptional written and verbal skills

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of building codes

Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment

Previous experience designing MEP systems for schools

Experience in the design of lighting and lighting controls, fire alarms, power and power

distribution, technology systems, as well as other standard electrical systems for commercial

Supervisory Responsibilities

Electrical Designers and Electrical Interns as assigned
