Job description

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Feeders Manufacturing Supervisor (3rd and 4th Shift).
What you'll do:
Primary Function:
Responsible for employees within a department and the contribution and performance of the department. The supervisor drives the processes in department through the Eaton Business systems. Assists Production Manager in the development of processes to achieve a zero-incident culture, maximizes output and reduce overall costs and through these improvements exceeding the customers' expectations. Under the rules of safety and quality set out in the organization, generate maximum results and comply with production standards based on performance and production capacity. Meet the customer's requirements under the standards of quality by which the company is governed.
Essential Functions:
1. In charge of daily production planning and execution as required based on client's requirements.
2. Ensure monitoring of quality and safety standards and control processes guided by the manufacturing instructions and quality standards set for production.
3. Meet established targets based on the standard of production per hour, and the goals established for the Key Operating Factors.
4. Manage inventory of raw material and material matter in process within the area.
5. Daily meet the standards of Just in Time.
6. During weekly meetings, conduct preventive and corrective actions related to everyday manufacturing processes through the Departmental Team meeting.
7. On a monthly basis, perform presentation of the department's results in terms of metrics and measures established by Eaton.
8. Make a report of monthly operations of activities carried out in the month that includes the graphic representation of production metrics: Load Performance, Fill Rate, N/S on Time, Through Yield, Process Yield and Scrap.
9. Avoid overdue orders through Load Plan compliance and supply them when there is a demand for them.
10. Reduction process planning and control of scrap and overtime.
11. Responsible for requesting and/or requiring Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) (safety gloves, safety goggles, protective gauze, etc.) to production line employees.
12. Supervise and monitor hourly personnel within their assigned production lines ensuring absenteeism, conflict management, disciplinary actions, recognitions, and compliance with corporate and plant standards.
13. Perform and report to HR changes and personnel moves such as department changes, shift changes, promotions, departures, etc.
14. Be lead by Eaton's policies, philosophy, values and Code of Ethics.
15. Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS):
• Attend and perform all EHS training assigned.
• Promote MESH processes and policies to all employees under his/her supervision.
• Provide all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures all performed by all personnel under his/her supervision.
IIoT Project responsibilities and accountabilities based on role scope:
• Discuss Key metrics on Tier 2, Use IIOT information to define fast response actions. Follow actions with the respectively team. Support Usage of IIOT system through the plant. Thru IIOT Dashboard, Visual Display, Tier 2 Board
• Discuss Key metrics daily with production floor manufacturing /support personnel (safety, quality issues, daily previous production, actions and usage of IIOT system) thru IIOT Dashboard, Visual Display, Tier 1 Board
• Support and provide guidance to solve system functionality issues. Track usage discuss discrepancy and develop corrective /preventive actions. Thru IIOT Dashboard, Shop floor Connectivity
• Maintain and enforce usage of TDM and PDES system in mfg. areas thru Shop Floor Connectivity
• Inform of issues and anomalies in the Tier meeting thru Shop Floor Connectivity
• Workstation - ongoing support & maintenance thru Infrastructure
• Workstation - new workstation setup thru Infrastructure
Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities:
Machine Operator: Work with machinery to produce the product.
Set up Operators: In charge to make set-up adjustments to machinery.
• Material Handler: Is responsible of supplying the raw material for production process and maintains the production lines organized. Orders materials from the Warehouse.
Production Coordinator: Under direct supervision, coordinates the daily production of up to 25 employees according to the requisition of production, checks the equipment operation and that the finished products comply with quality requirements demanded by the customer.
Show the total number of employees that you supervise (directly or indirectly) approximately: 35-40.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• *Other engineering and/or technical bachelor's degree might be considered for this position. An evaluation and approval process will be in place.
• Required minimum experience: 1 year in leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with complex manufacturing processes focus on Punch Press and Plating.
• English/ Spanish language proficiency in both speaking/ writing.
• Computer literate.
• Supervisory experience of non-skilled, semi-skilled and technical staff.
• Competencies: Drive for Results, Build Organizational Capability, Ethic, Transparent, Accountable.

• Immediate responsibility for covering Back Order.
