Job description

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
What you'll experience in the first year:
  • Requirement Derivation: Translate high-level assembly requirements or concepts into specific, implementable, and testable hardware requirements
  • Hardware Design and Prototyping: Collaborate in the design process to create and prototype hardware items from subsystem designs
  • Expert Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for your hardware item, identifying at least two potential upgrades to enhance technical capabilities, manufacturing yield, or usability
  • Hardware Testing: Develop and execute a comprehensive verification test plan for standalone hardware items based on derived requirements
