Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience designing power systems or industrial control systems, looking to join a market-leading manufacturer where you'll become the go-to technical expert within the engineering team while leading complex projects?


This is an excellent opportunity to become a senior engineer within a highly respected engineering team, while working on technically challenging, engineered-to-order projects from concept through production.


This company is a well-established manufacturer of industrial equipment and engineered power systems, supplying critical infrastructure projects across North America. They have built an outstanding reputation for engineering excellence, investing heavily in both their products and people, and are now looking to strengthen their engineering team with an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer.


In this technically diverse role, you will lead complex electrical design projects, interpret customer specifications, develop innovative solutions, and work closely with project management, manufacturing, and suppliers throughout the entire project lifecycle.


This role would suit a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience designing power equipment or industrial electrical systems who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership and project ownership.


The Role:


  • Lead the electrical design and development of custom low and medium voltage switchgear and power control systems from concept through production.
  • Work closely with project management, production, purchasing, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring designs comply with NEC standards and engineering best practices.


The Person:


  • Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Design Engineer
  • Experience designing low or medium voltage power systems or industrial automation systems.
  • AutoCAD experience with knowledge of electrical schematics and control panel design.
