We are seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer III.
This is an on-site role at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, VA.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support to develop technical repair procedures and test equipment for NATO Sea Sparrow Missile System Depot located at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. This work will be completed in Bay 6 of Bldg. 476 at Yorktown Weapons Station. E63 Branch Manager will be local POC.
  • Technical Repair Standards will describe how to overhaul an asset to include inspections, repair processes, disassembly and reassembly instruction, and Final Acceptance Testing.
  • Instructions shall provide enough detail to restore assets to like new condition after being overhauled using the technical repair procedure.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 11-15 years of naval combat systems, weapon systems, and/or general electronics experience.
  • Ability to test and repair at the component level.
  • Ability to identify the correct test equipment required to correctly test/identify issues.

Security Clearance:
  • Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
