Control Technician

We are seeking a Control Tech for our Recycle and Spinning Plants located in Yadkinville, NC

How will you play an integral role?

A Control Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment within the plant.

What is my earning potential?

We offer competitive hourly rates starting at $25.33, with top pay up to $34.03 / DOE. In addition, our shift premiums $1.00 for 12-hour night shifts.

Do you offer flexible shifts?

We do! We offer 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. This position is a 12-hour night shift from 7pm – 7am on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Are you qualified for the position?

  • Perform repairs to include changing out motors, inverters, switches and connectors.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems that involve electronics and power sources.
  • Perform calibration of equipment and assist with equipment set-up and changes as instructed.
  • Responsible for changing out AGV battery cases and performing electrical maintenance on the palletizer systems.
  • Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations.

Education

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • A two-year associate's degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, or Electrical/Electronic Technology or equivalent is preferred, or significant comparable experience is required.

Experience

  • Strong industrial electrical background
  • 2 years relative experience required
