Job Description
DST Engineers LLC is seeking experienced Distribution Design Engineers (Design Engineer I & II) to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in electric utility distribution design and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electric distribution system design and engineering.
  • Prepare distribution design packages, drawings, and construction documents.
  • Analyze existing distribution systems and develop design solutions.
  • Coordinate with clients, utilities, field teams, and internal engineering staff.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable utility standards, codes, and project requirements.
  • Review project scope, identify design requirements, and support project execution.
  • Manage multiple projects while meeting quality and schedule requirements.

Qualification
s
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • .3+ years of experience in electric distribution design/engineering
  • .Strong knowledge of distribution systems, equipment, and utility design practices
  • .Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering/design software
  • .Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • .Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • .ComEd experience is highly preferred
  • .Experience working with US electric utilities is a plus
