Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Pelzer, SC

Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of experience designing for data centers, telecom, and industrial projects. The role involves designing AC/DC power distribution systems, UPS and DC power systems, switchgear, switchboards, standby generators, grounding, lighting, MV/LV distribution, Building Management Systems (BMS), and electrical layouts. Responsibilities include preparing single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, power system calculations, bills of materials, and construction drawings while ensuring compliance with NEC and other applicable electrical codes. The engineer will coordinate with mechanical, architectural, contractors, vendors, and integration teams, support FAT, SAT, commissioning, installation, site visits, troubleshooting, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Required experience includes AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, PLCs, relays, Modbus, TCP/IP, RS-485, Ethernet, electrical construction drawings, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
