Job Purpose

TheGlobal GNSS Design team, based out of CNHโ€™s Calgary GNSS office, develops advanced positioning and correction services that power precision technology solutions worldwide. By focusing on highโ€‘accuracy techniques like PPP (Precise Point Positioning) and RTK (Realโ€‘Time Kinematic), the team ensures that CNH products deliver reliable and precise navigation and positioning capabilities in the field.

As aGeomatics Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on GNSS receiver firmware, correction services, and algorithm design. This role provides the opportunity to apply geospatial and software engineering skills to cuttingโ€‘edge technology that supports agriculture and construction applications.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

Collaborating with engineers onPPP and RTK correction servicesto enhance accuracy and reliability

Supporting the development ofembedded GNSS receiver firmware

Designing and testinggeodetic transform algorithmsusing MATLAB, C++, and Python

Conductingvalidation and verification testingusing global GNSS datasets

Analyzing data to support improvements in precision, robustness, and performance of GNSS-based systems

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Geomatics Engineering or a related field.

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is CA$22.66 - CA$38.11 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
