Senior Electrical Design Engineer With PE License

BKV Group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of related experience to join our team. Ideally, we are looking for someone with electrical engineering experience in all aspects of design and documentation for multi-family housing, commercial and civic government projects to provide senior electrical engineering and design leadership for the local Dallas practice site and national Electrical Discipline.

Project related responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyze the design requirements, specifications, and performance requirements to determine the best and most appropriate designs to meet customer expectations, code requirements, and all life and safety considerations.
  • Coordinate the electrical design with the other project disciplines and the Project Manager.
  • Execute and oversee project electrical designs.
  • Support the Construction Phase including submittal review and RFI response.

Technical Leadership responsibilities include the following:

  • Mentor and develop engineering staff.
  • Maintain and develop electrical standards in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
  • Assist the Director of Electrical Engineering with electrical work product quality control.
  • Act as a senior electrical engineering and design resource, and provide assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of focused electrical design experience.
  • Professional Engineering License.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public.

Compensation range: $130,000 โ€“ $160,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
