Job description

Job Title: Control System Engineer 
Job Location: Houston, TX 
Job Type: Full Time 

Job Description:  

  • Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider). 

  • Develop and maintain control system documentation, including wiring diagrams, logic flow, and network layouts. 

  • Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment. 

  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams. 

  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, manuals, and operator training materials. 

  • Lead or assist in control system upgrades and retrofits for existing installations. 

  • Integrate control systems with MES, ERP, or data historians (OSIsoft PI, Ignition, etc.). 

  • Implement cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems following NIST or ISA/IEC 62443 standards. 

  • Support 24/7 production operations through on-call troubleshooting when required.
