Location: Humble, TX
Position Overview
ACE Controls is seeking an experienced Control Panel Wireman to join our Humble, TX team. In this position you will build, wire, test, and troubleshoot industrial control panels for automation and process control applications. Working from electrical schematics and engineering drawings, you will assemble high-quality control panels used in water and wastewater, food and beverage, and manufacturing environments.
You will work with industrial control components including relays, terminal blocks, circuit protection devices, power distribution equipment, and other electrical control systems. Your work plays a critical role in delivering reliable automation solutions that help customers operate safely, efficiently, and consistently.
The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, maintains a strong focus on quality and safety, and enjoys solving electrical and control system challenges in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, wire, and modify industrial control panels according to engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Install and terminate relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, fuses, power supplies, and other electrical components.
  • Perform panel testing, verification, and troubleshooting to confirm proper operation.
  • Diagnose and repair wiring, control system, and electrical component issues.
