Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in electrical assembly? BCA is looking for a motivated, entry-level Control Panel Builder to become part of our growing team. With training, support, and real-world project exposure, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills in a thriving industry.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Control Panel Builder, you'll play a key role in bringing complex automation systems to life. You will:
  • Assemble electrical control panels from engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts
  • Follow proven company processes and best practices to deliver high-quality builds
  • Interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials
  • Complete panel layout work, including enclosure cut-outs and component mounting
  • Work with a range of tools and materials, including wiring, drilling, and tapping
  • Ensure accurate labelling and identification of components and wiring
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace
  • Deliver professional workmanship on every project

Expect variety in your work-from detailed assembly to problem-solving and continuous skill development.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is eager to learn and ready to get stuck in. You should have:
  • An understanding of electrical wiring methods and standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of wire types, sizes, and colour coding
  • Confidence using tools and working hands-on

Minimum requirements:
  • High School or Trade School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Around 2 years of manufacturing or hands-on experience
