Electrical Controls Assembler

Location Decatur, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

โ€ข $18โ€“$20 per hour, depending on experience

โ€ข Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AMโ€“4:00 PM (40-hour work week)

โ€ข Full-time (W2)

โ€ข Must provide your own tools: Power drill, wrench, and ratchet


ROLE IMPACT:

Build the control systems that power heavy-duty frac equipment. As an Electrical Controls Assembler, your wiring precision and hands-on skills directly impact performance in the field. Success means delivering clean, accurate control panels and harness assemblies that meet quality standards and are ready for high-demand oilfield operations.

โ€ข Assemble frac pump control boxes, electronic control panels, and motherboard-based assemblies from start to finish

โ€ข Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, harness prints, and work instructions

โ€ข Pull, measure, cut, strip, route, label, and terminate wire

โ€ข Perform soldering, crimping, and connector terminations

โ€ข Install relays, switches, terminals, connectors, and other electrical components into enclosures

โ€ข Use power tools to drill, mount, and secure components within control cabinets

โ€ข Hands-on assembly experience working with electrical components or motherboards

โ€ข Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings

โ€ข Comfortable using hand tools and drills in a production or shop environment


Equipment & Work Environment

โ€ข Shop and production floor environment

โ€ข Use of hand tools, power drills, crimpers, and soldering equipment

โ€ข Bench-based assembly work with sitting and standing throughout the day

โ€ข Occasional enclosure modification, including drilling and component mounting


Preferred Skills

โ€ข Experience with electronic assembly, harness assembly, control panel assembly, automotive wiring, or diesel equipment wiring

โ€ข Familiarity with motherboard components, low-voltage wiring, and basic electrical theory
